Due to their long-term expertise, Freyssinet was awarded the repair work to expand the lifespan of this historic structure on two separate occasions.

As the General Contractor, we replaced the two roller nest expansion bearings on this historic bridge by utilizing custom-designed welded jacking brackets.

We were responsible for the extensive restoration of damaged bearings, pedestals, corbels, and the replacement of deteriorated pipe saddles that support the aging bridge's water main.

Emergency tendon replacement and concrete repairs on box girder bridges spanning the Wando River in Charleston, South Carolina.

Freyssinet was hired onto the team to optimize and supply the post-tensioning system. Freyssinet's team also provided technical assistance and specialty equipment.

Freyssinet was contracted to provide post-tensioning services for the new global headquarters of JPMorgan - Chase at 270 Park Avenue in New York City. The post-tensioning was needed to reinforce the building and its foundation allowing it to display this striking facade.

Freyssinet has a long-standing history with Goethals Bridge including construction of the stay cable system, completing heavy lifting and lowering of the old structure as part of the demolition sequence, and yearly cable inspection & maintenance.

Freyssinet was awarded a contract to supply the hanger cables to reinforce the arch of the new bridge and to provide technical assistance during the fabrication, installation, and stressing of the cables.
